SkinShade is designed to analyze your selected photo locally in your browser. The photo used for an estimate is not uploaded to, stored by, or sent to a SkinShade server for analysis.

What the tool processes

When you choose a photo or capture one with your camera, the app reads color information from the three skin areas you select. That processing happens on your device so it can estimate skin depth, undertone, and a HEX color reference.

What is not collected

SkinShade does not use your photo to identify you, infer ethnicity, or build a biometric profile. The downloadable Skin Card contains the displayed estimate and color reference, not the source photo.

Your choices

You control which photo you select and may leave the page or start a new scan at any time. As with any website, your browser or device may retain its own temporary files or settings under its normal controls.
